Home Office Simple Upgrades with High Impact
It seems the “little things” are the BIG things these days. My morning coffee mug, my slippers and then my sneakers, my hot shower, the sun shining, the chance to open the windows and feeling like my ducks are in a row. When everything is in its place and I can take a deep breath, that is when I can really dig in.
We are all wearing multiple hats these days. As a working parent, I’ve found the best way to be productive is to separate myself from my crew for a block of time and put on my KMID hat. {Side note: My husband and I have opted to split our work days to allow both of us to have a block of uninterrupted work time each day. This has worked for us so far and been a lifesaver for both of us.} Not only does this help my productivity but it also has invigorated me over the past couple weeks. It has taken me awhile to find my rhythm. To find a focus on where we go from here and what the future could possibly look like.
I think most of us have carved out our “work space” at this point. We’re hopefully finding a pace that works for us and we know we’ll be here for a while longer. I am the most productive when everything is in it’s place and I’m surrounded by pretty things. Call me crazy but it just feels good. We had a little fun putting together a group of “feel good treats” that might help motivate, inspire and just simply make you smile. If you need a little pick-me-up to catapult your week, treat yourself to something for your desk that might help give you a little juice…
